Base Plates
Our Base Plates provide the connection between our ITBs and some of most
common carburetor-style intake manifolds. They are available in
clear anodized (as pictured below) or polished aluminum (for an extra fee).
We currently offer Base Plates for SU carburetor conversions as well as the
3 most common Weber® applications. Because the design
of our Base Plate is flat, you can have your own custom Base Plate made or make
your own for a fraction of the time, effort, and cost of a custom intake
manifold.

Weber®-Style
DCOE
and IDF Base Plates:

This Base Plate design is
pre-drilled for both DCOE and IDF-style mounting
locations4 DCOE mounting holes are threaded (1/4 x 20
threads)
- Choose 40, 45, and 50mm bore sizes
- 90mm Bore Spacing
- These Base Plates may be customized and used
in other applications that have similar bore
spacing (such as Nissan RB26DETT which shares a
90mm spacing)
- 2 Nitrile Composite Gaskets and 8 Stainless
Steel Sockethead bolts are included to mount
base plate to 2 ITBs (Note: Gasket for Intake
Manifold to Base Plate interface is not
included)
Weber®-Style
IDA Base Plates:

This Base Plate design is
pre-drilled for IDA mounting locations, common
to V8 applications (Ford, Chevy, GM, Chrysler)
- Choose 40, 45, and 50mm bore sizes
- 120mm Bore Spacing
- 2 Nitrile Composite Gaskets and 8 Stainless
Steel Sockethead bolts are included to mount
base plate to 2 ITBs (Note: Gasket for Intake
Manifold to Base Plate interface is not
included)
SU Base
Plates:

This Base Plate design is
pre-drilled for SU mounting locations, common to
British marquees (MG, Triumph, Austin Healey,
etc.). It can also be modified for custom
installations
- Choose 40, 45, and 50mm bore sizes (approx
1.5", 1.75", and 2")
- 2 Nitrile Composite Gaskets and 8 Stainless
Steel Sockethead bolts are included to mount
base plate to 2 ITBs (Note: Gasket for Intake
Manifold to Base Plate interface is not
included)
